We need a player test load late tomorrow... after BSG is over. ;D

So 9-11 Central. Try to be there and break it... Test and feedback too. We will have a new installer and shiplist and all that jazz tomorrow afternoon hopefully. So be prepared. If you havent tested, you need to. Please do your part.

A saturday or sunday or a week from this saturday start depends on how many show up.

Thanks in advance.

Sorry, 9 pm Central is 10 pm Eastern, the time I leave for work.

It is also the time the new Battlestar Galactica starts with the mid season finale of the Battlestar Pegasus showing up.

Allow me to fix up the server a bit before it is load tested. It has been running with the donors in the Klingon list this whole time, I was unaware that they were there.

I would prefer that we did not load test it until we have the new shiplist and missions in place. We can draw no conlusions about the stability of the kit with the current setup.

P.S. the new Battlestar Galactica series rerun ads look pretty bogus to me. I'm enjoying reruns of the old series.  :P

I have the ship and ftrlist done, bonk... but, I dont think we will get a good player turnout anyway with the looks of this thread, hehe. So, we will hold off testing till tomorrow sometime.

Cool, I seem to have a bit of a stomach upset tonight anyway.  Send it along and I can prepare the files for tomorrow. (I removed the last of the donors serverside and reset it anyway...)

If you want everything is 'ok in an hour' TV... don't watch the new BSG.

Tonight's episode is going to have some shocking stuff in it...

Personally, I can't wait.

No I do not need a plot to be resolved in an hour. I like long movies. I am just consistently offended by the whole sex-sells approach to TV.  (I know, I know.. if you don't like the war turn it off...)

Don't scare me like that! You had me worried, I had to check. Phew! I just spent two hours uploading the new files. There are no donors in the Rom list.

Confused I am.

Where are the donor ships coming from?
the pirate slots? I thought that was unworkable for some reason..

There never were any donors in the Rom list.

There is no issue with using the cartels to donate if you use the installer or remember to add the line to your sfc.ini as mentioned in other posts.

The only drawback is that enemy fighters will be available to donated carriers/PFTs. But it won't be hard to tell if someone is cheating by using them or enableing warp doubling, both are easy to observe and the offending party would be chastised beyond belief for doing it.

The plus side is both client and server will be more stable and we should be able to use EEK missions. (and both use the same shiplist) That is what we are testing today (the TG missions are out for todays test).
