Romulan Warbird Drydock

ROMULAN WARBIRD DRYDOCK

I simply took the shipyard, the warbird and a couple of worker bees and combined them all for a more interesting model to use in game.
I removed the right nacelle from the warbird and placed it in a holding unit inside the dock, then simulated the work bees retrieving it.
When the base explodes you'll see pieces of the warbird floating away.
Beats the heck out of looking at an empty base during an attack.

I'll probably do docks and bases like this for all the races  ;D

Enjoy !!!!

Nice! I salute your skills sir.

Can you do a TMP version using Thulls' Firehawk and a TOS/SFB one with a TOS BOP?

For you KF, absolutely......care to make(retexture) or show me where I can find a TOS and TMP Romulan repair dock and I'll get it done in a jiffy. I really dig this bashing stuff LOL.

MP,

I've been using the ST: Armada II warbird drydock as shown above as my Romulan drydock For TMP Romulans. You could substitue the Firehawk for WZ45's Melak if you can get his approval. That would be Super cool! No reason to think the Romulans can't have 100+ year old ship repair/construction docks...

IDEALLY: US TMPers should have somebody convert Kt'Hyla's Romulan Narvassam drydock at his website: http://dhost.info/phoenix/narvasam.htm

If it can be converted with ms 3d 1.7.5 someone tell me how and I'll give it a go.

MP. I would suggest you be very careful releasing this. The original mod is one for Atmara 2 called "Fleet Operations" and it was originally created by one of their team modellers. You might be wise to contact them as they are very tight with who they grant permission to. They requested removal of my entire selection of romulan stations from my own mod. However, if you can convert models to sfc3 format then I have a version of the drydock that appears on startrekaustralia.com website (which I did get permission to make. Your welcome to it, although I do believe that FW already has the model from me.

When I found the base, the read me said Armada 2 Project etc...and SFC port by DD, and to credit Maddoc for the designs. Nothing about a "Flight Operations project".  As for your base, I do OP stuff not SFC 3 so I'll just grab it from your site. Unless you vers from ST Australia is GTG for OP. Heck I can do both if you wish, I love this bashing  ;D Thanks again for allowing me to use it.

I know it says "Armada 2 Project". Thats where I got them from in the beginning. It was only after I posted images from my modthat someone pointed it out. Mind you. It seems that certain things have come to light which would effect the Flops team if they say anything so don't worry about it.

As for my own dry dock. Its a rebuild of the one from Star Trek Australia, at about 5000 polys (a bit high for a station but still). I have no site currently so you'll need to grab the model directly of me or (if I've given it to Fallen_Warrior) then grab if from FW.

Thanks Major email it here.... RavensLust67@aol.com and I'll get to work on it. BTW do you have any BC ships/stations you want ported over to SFC ? I'll be glad to do so. And if you want some space, just ask F_W I'm sure he can find you some room at OutaLance for your work  ;D.
