NSEA Protector Request
« on: September 03, 2005, 09:27:52 pm »
I know this ship was made already and is currently posted at the battleclinic, but it could use a high poly version more accurate to the movie.  Would anyone be willing to make one?

I second that.  Atra's isn't very accurate.

I'll throw in my vote too. NSEA is an excelent ship (great movie that was too) and deserves to be done in a grand way.

Looking at those screenies, with some great textures IMHO, that ship would look totally Trek.

The Planet in that screen would be neat too as a Starbase or just half a planet.

Sorry to have missed this ..  I've been spending a lot of time here at work.  Even though this is "Labor Day" here in the States ..  I'm here when no one else in the entire company is.

Hopefully I can get what needs to be done in a few hours and head home.

When I get there I need to spend time with "wiffey".

While this response seems to waaaaaay  OT ... it isn't really.

1.  I would love to see a good model of this ship done
2.  As for the asteroid base ... I think it's a cool idea ...  but  I needed something that spelled out "Trek" a lot more.  ( see other thread)

thanks guys  ...

and ... sorry if we got too far OT ...  Just hope that gave ya an idea what's going on.

Hello everyone.  Sorry I've been away from this site for a few weeks, but I would like to give this one a try.  I normally don't make hi-poly models, but I really like this ship and I really like Galaxy Quest.  I was in the process of trying to make this ship for SFC3 a year ago when I fournd Atra's SFC2 version and asked if I can convert it (that's the one that's hosted at battleclinic).

Well, I just got started on this.  Hopefully I'll have an early WIP that's worth showing soon.
