I think you owe me an apology for your misunderstanding and all the confused crap you caused by taking Corbo's speculative post as gospel over what the admin had said the decision was to be. Here's your chance to get a few plus karma.

You didn't indicate whether that was in favor of the majority or minority. No appology for your failure to be clear, or to respond to my request to say what it was and this was all before my decision, which has you so bent out of shape.

Dizzy said he sided with the majority in the post right before Dax;s. and that he had indicated this
Dax pointed out that he had never actually said what his decison was, just that he (Dizzy) had
made a decision for SGO5.

I would thing that everyone can calm down a wee bit though, i mean I'm personally
taking more shots from Dizzy than anyone about this, and I really don't care.

My bad it was near the bottom of page 11.

The ruling sided with the majority... sort of. I posted it that same moment in the server description thread under general rules when I made my post on page 11. Later that night the thread was edited to change bases cuz they will now be destroyable, all of them (tech issue) and 2x planets have been selected to replace the 2x SB's at the start of RM placement.

Really, Tobin, you and Dib seriously frustrate me. I didnt realize till later that you and Dib thought I sided with the minority because I was some sore loser or something... And thats what all the muhaha was about. Not the case. At any rate, I think had peeps actually read MY posts instead of Corbo whi isnt the SG admin, things would have been different.

Oh, Dfly too, cuz I posted in a reply to Corbo's uninformed post about a ruling I never made that he should sit in an admins chair and try it for size to which I got negative karma from Dfly.  I'll say it again from some distant thread way back... you are damned if you do or dont. Being an Admin for a server leaves you with little appreciation before during or after from everyone else. There are few left who put up with it. Keep it up.

It still doesn't say which way you ruled. My bad for not reading the server thread. My bad for adding your initial view on the poll thread to your "unspecified"decision and figuring how you ruled.
Now is there somewhere else on the poll thread where I could actually find what the decision was? Obviously your failure to post what the decision actually was in those threads lead more than me to the same conclusion. I appologise for not reading your mind.

- General Shuttles and Ftr interaction: A Carrier captain(s) has the right to ask his opponent(s) at the start of the mission whether or not they consider using a GS on a Ftr a valid tactic. All opponents must respond with a yes or no. If the players cannot agree then it will be assumed the tactic will be valid for that match for all players involved. If a responding opponent that answers no to using a GS on a Ftr and does so anyway, then that player forfeits all claims of victory and his/her opponent is exempt from shiploss and the disengagement penalty for that match.

All it really does is allow the Carrier captain to know what kind of playing field he is on. Its a respect thing that swings both ways.
