Does anyone know where I can find, or someone willing to sell me a copy of the original board game that SFC is based on? I really wanna play it!

my wife & i started playing a few days ago never played before .....I got the captains basic edition is that good & do i need to buy any thing else ?????
It seems better that the pc version

You can still find this game in gaming hobby stores. Anything that sells lots of role-playing games and wargames will probably have it or can order it. It is still in print.

the SFC series is based on the Doomsday edition of Starfleet Battles....

JFYI.. that is the edition you would probably need to compare to SFC, SFC II EAW and SFC II OP.
