CCH all the way.

BCH's are not that far off either.

I think it's posts like this that make one realize the toll that many of you have obviously
taken on your brain cells through a combination of booze and/or illicit substances.
(They've taken a toll on me as well, yes, fortunately for the lot of you I had far more to start with.)

You people (all 11 of you) are seriously arguing that the NHK-CB-D7W- Z-CCH-l-CCH
are more balanced than CLC-D5L-CWLP line?

Did you have someone reading the poll to you? I believe they may have messed up.

I tend to like matchups between war cruisers rather than war cruiser leaders, but I'll still vote for CWL since that is the closest option in your poll.

War destroyers (not DDWL's) might be a good matchup too, but I don't normally see too many of those since by the time they are out, so is all the heavy cheese.

SFB was heavily into its cookie-cutter stage around the time the CW's and DDW's came out.

Who voted for the X-ships?    ;D

I do think they are very even (Definately better than the BCHs), but I'm surprised anyone voted do to the cheddar factor.

Is there some weird imbalance in the CWL's I'm unaware of?
I don't fly that many CCH/NCC's but it would seem (from the ships I do fly)
that the D5L/CLC/CWLP are a better match up than the CB/D7W/L-CCH
Perhaps some of hte poseur powers don't have the power in their CWl's but
for any of the real races..

Ever fly an R-SPL?

I voted CCH because racial flavor is watered down with the war cruisers.   A Federation ship with a decent power curve and Turnmode isn't really a "Federation" ship.

How could the ISC throw this off???

BCH - well, maybe here, with the CCZ and all.  Though in fairness, we'd need to consider the CAZ, as it's BPV is a lot closer to the rest of the BCHs than the CCZ.  Same with the Rommies, look more NHK than KHK.

CCH - none.  Our CC is the BCH-hull...  No War Cruisers here either... (NCC)

2275 CWCs / CWLs - none

Heavy Dread - People complain about the 4xPPD DN not lasting.  The DNH still has 4 PPDs and a couple of extra phasers.  Still more-or-less dead meat in a solo fight

CAX - Could wind up being the most balanced, but they're balanced by cookie-cutter than anything else...

Oh, from time spent in other races, I'm a fan of the CCHs more than the War-hulls myself...

Lets face it, no ship class is really balanced across all races, the game was designed with an ebb and flow principle.  If you wanted a true balance within a single ship class for a single time period that encompassed all races you'd have to redesign the shiplist for that class of vessels.
