SFC3 Linksys Router
« on: November 15, 2005, 11:14:46 pm »
Anyone get this to work? I've tried port forwarding, turning off the firewall, etc.

Yup, I got it to work on a BEFSR41 in the past. Port forward 2302,2303 and 6073, allow pings and add the IPAddress= line under [meta] in the sfc.ini.

Do not use the DMZ and port forwarding. One or the other. Both require a static lan config to work reliably.

Allow pings: http://192.168.1.1/Filters.htm  - disable "Block WAN Request"

RTFM!!!

        Block Anonymous Internet Requests

   Filter Multicast

   Filter Internet NAT Redirection

   Filter IDENT(Port 113)

check or uncheck those?

Firewall Protection: Enable, or disable?

I got it working...  Filter Internet NAT Redirection  needed to be enabled.
