I mentioned in another thread, But I'll do the same here. IF anyone needs a place untill the storm blows over, I'm offering my Ranch out here in Oklahoma. IIRC, I think Jack Morris also offered his place in Austin.

Brian Wilson on FoxNews read an e-mail from a meterologist who was there for one of the earlier New Orleans hurricanes. He said that a lot of people were found dead, not because of the weather, but because they had to share the high ground with hundreds of poisonous snakes who migrated for the same purpose. As the e-mail tersely put it, "the snakes won".

This is a real disaster. Some parts of Nawlins is 20 feet under water, and the dead bodies are not even being picked up yet cuz there's too much rescue work to do.

If anyone can give to charities for 2005 Hurricane relief, please give the idea a few thoughts.

The president asked individual Americans to get involved with the relief effort, suggesting anyone who wishes to help could call 1-800-HELPNOW, log on to the Red Cross Web site or get in touch with the Salvation Army.

“The good folks in Louisiana and Mississippi and Alabama and other affected areas are going to need the help and compassion and prayers of our fellow citizens,” Bush said Tuesday.

Water moccasins are NOT as stupid as we think.  ;)

As far as donations? Fluck them! Nobody told them to live in hurricane alley. Just as people who live in the San Andreas fault will not get one ounce of sympathy from me. Corporations that milked the gulf coast are not giving anything, and Bush does not seemed too concerned about fuel prices, and to top it off, since when are tsunami victims more important than Americans? Everybody who donated got a nice tax relief off the tsunami after Bush made it that way, but yet look at the U.S., nope, sorry, you are not an overseas worker fattening our pockets, so no tax refund for aiding YOU. I know doo-doo when I see it, and this is a prime example of stinky doo-doo. Fluck tax refunds for donating to the monkeys overseas, America SHOULD come first. Reality shows me different though.  >:(

People are dying in the streets of New Orleans right now and have been dying all week.

Just thought you should know that.
