as far as i know,  when ship has a decent hull integrity it can stay at warp within an other ships warp field :p

as far as i know,  when ship has a decent hull integrity it can stay at warp within an other ships warp field :p

Trek lore seems to say that the general goal of a ship builder is to design the hull so that the smallest possible warp field can envelope it - i.e. minimalising 'wasted' warp field.
It would be very inefficient I am thinking, to have a field large enough to encompass all of those pf's at the distance that they are from the warp ship in the middle! :p

two pf's, no more than that can fit as you may or may not be able to see. and no theyre not too far off from the tender; take a look at the comparison pic :p
anyhow its still possible, just think the ships are already deployed for getting ready to fight right away after getting out from warp ;]
