It is best to just remove solo escorts. The G-rack ones are no longer ubber so nobody flies them anyway.

As much as I wish I could make it so, that seems to be a tall order at the moment....

I suspect some of my fellow fleet Captains will ill regard having still fewer ships available to them, I think this is the easiest and most balanced options for dealing with the question of escorts.
