That's one ugly lil ship. Great model work though. It looks like a glorified D-7 boom, which I have read , was detachable. Maybe this is what it looks like when it seperates   :P

Actually that is the coolest ship I've ever seen (well for the Romulans anyway).

Blech! Get rid of that D7 boom and heat sink and replace them with something that actually looks Romulan and you've got a real nice ship, but as is it's hideous. I've always hated the idea from SFB that the Romulans would build ships based on the Klingon designs.
If I determine the enemy's disposition of forces while I have no perceptible form, I can concentrate my forces while the enemy is fragmented. The pinnacle of military deployment approaches the formless: if it is formless, then the deepest spy cannot discern it, nor the wise make plans against it.

I dunno what else would look good on top of that ship besides a d7 heat sink. and if you toss the boom you got a while different ship. Or, simply make it klingon. ;D Whichever. So long as it comes in a texture scheme like this guys model as either primary or alternate I don't care.

My own personal analysis ( not that its THAT valuable ..  just FYI stuff)

1.  If you were attempting to utilize the format of the era when Romulans were still using Klingon design ..  on that that you may have succeeded some what.

2. If you were attempting an original design ..  there you have presented a unique idea.

However ...  please note:

the unusual design of the legs from the experimental warp design seems to be out of place.  This would be in compliance with the absence of the nacelles as well.  It just does not seem to fit right.

as well as this statement:

The Seabird's two ungainly "feet" are presumed to be a field stabilizing component of the new warp drive. Starfleet intelligence analysts refer to them unkindly as "the drumsticks."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I understand your desire to create a new design ...   but it is just a bit too awkward for other concepts that work for that era.

please dont give up .....   Take another shot at it !

There's got to be a way !

ok sended the make a mail for some more pics of the model and if i get them, then i will make a model of it but it will be not so high poly as other guys work here since i make this first for ST Armada and than i will make an SFC version and i will try to make a more romulan version with another bridge section, boom and impulse/ hangar deck
