Just what we needed... Another place for emloyees to pretend to work and for teenagers to talk sex and be preyed upon. Another place to mine personal data and demographics. I see another rash of emoticon/spyware sites in our future. IM software just annoys me.
I don't mind the software so much, as the people who use It. that's one reason, why I very very rarely turn on my IM software. It never fails, I sign on to MSN for example, and all of a sudden 478 people start poping up windows wanting to carry on a conversation. It's not that I don't mind talking to people, but trying to Carry on that many conversations while at the same time, Addressing who It was I meant to talk too can be Problematic at best.
