no , My point was that none of my ships had mirvs.  It was my light and heavy drones that were fired from my A and B racks (from a post about 6 back) that did not hit some planets.  If I put them into a scatterpack they would hit. If I fired them from my drone racks they would not.

Oi. now that is truly weird... I guess we now have to test all races to see if drones work properly in all of them, for future KCW type setups. Though I am beginning to suspect it is an isssue with some particular planet.... It might also be that Met_SG4_9PlanetaryAssault.scr mission... I'm starting to wonder... it will take a custom singleplayer campaign with missionnames on and just a stock and that planetary assault in the mission list and run it with the KCW shiplist to test all races agains the planet... that should tell us what is happening... any volunteers?  (though that mission is not present on The Forge)

I was an affected party, I'll show up, assuming I can. It showed up on several planets. I know this cause it happpened on several different versions of terrain for the NW planet assults
i.e the asteroid map, non asteroid map with armed and unarmed planets

Cool, but I was asking if someone would set it up and test it in singleplayer... no need to "show up", you can do so at your leisure, I maight be able to get to it myself eventually.

Looks like some windows updates were applied to the server.  :)

The Forge is back up now.

An "Officer Exchange Program" has now been implemented on The Forge:

Something went awry in a mission last night.

Battle location: 27,35
Battle Participants:
RBFSoth Victory level: Defeat
Regular prestige: 0 Bonus prestige: 0
Host: FPF-TobinDax Victory level: Defeat
Regular prestige: 0 Bonus prestige: 0
Empire Defence value shift: 9-->9
Cartel Defence value shift: 10-->10
Battle finished at: 2006-03-07 18:17:37

This was an asteroid defence in which I drafted Soth. I forced him to disengage and we both wound up with defeats and he got 300 PP, while I got none, despite the posted results saying neither got any PP. As noted in the results, there was no DV shift.

Thanks for the report!

I saw similar things in the last SQL test. I think there is a problem with my PvP DV shift code. (though it makes perfect sense to me, I cannot see how it would result in this, though perhaps I have revealed deeper issues in the kit with this...) So I'll have to remove the PvP DV shift code from the servers and leave it out of the next SQL debug test until I can figure out what the issue is.

Two weeks left in the current run! Once 2303 arrives I'll tally up the stats and declare a winner.

Make your wishes known for the next run now. I'll be going over this thread to see what I will modify.

I'll be doing a final db clean on it in the next day or so.

This was big fun Bonk - and well administered.  No changes necessary.  Just wind it up again and let it run.

The only thing I wouldn't mind seeing is the starting prestige bigger and a line ship for your first ship other than it is great with Tracey G's cool scripts.Keep those.

ONLY 2 WEEKS LEFT!!!!

Omigosh - which BB shall I fly: Klink, ISC or Fed.....

Have enjoyed the server muchly Bonk.  Look forward to the next iteration.  Any idea how long till u bring it up again?  I really love having a steady-state, non-campaign sorta server.  That being said, perhaps I'll bring the basement back with a semi-standard shiplist.  If u make the gfs for this server available let me know.  Would be a GREAT starting point.

I'm a little bewildered right now about what shiplist too use.  The "hardcore" sounds good, but I've also started playing with Milkshape, so.... maybe i'll force people to do a 100 meg dl in the next couple months.  LOL....

Cheers Man - Great Server!

It was an unusual map set up at the start.
Considering the length of the server, it proved not too bad, tho.  ;D
Had fun, and it was a nice change to use the "stock" OP+4.0.  ;D
Was consistently rock steady and mostly bug free.
Good Job!
I await the next one... ;D

server seems to burp when a live player is moving thru hexes too quickly...

have had this happen to me several times within the last 24 hours...

ive adopted the idea that there is a "stop" sign in every hex...before moving to the next hex...too not encourage a burp in the server...

and as always +1 karma for ye Bonk...

even though im sore you're gonna take the server down when the cheesier "X" ships hit the yards...was looking forward to flying them for a bit...

at least until something "serious" comes along...unless of course there are too many complaints...but i think even if peeps are complaining for one reason or another...they gotta wanna fly the more cheesier"X" ships too???  dunno...but that would be cool!!!

at least for a little while...
