Good question, not really sure. I just increased base contruction probabilites twofold and doubled the attempts to build bases from 5 to 10 today.

I just placed a base this morning..!  (economy at 1030, but I adjusted probabilites as described above, also I think an empire will produce more bases if it is allowed to produce more frigates... sounds counterintuitive but I think it is the case)

As it turns out the big "A" planet assault is the bugged one.... grrrrr!  >:(  Who reported the small "a" one was bugged? I have a t-bomb with your name on it! ;D  drb reports that the small "a" one was fine, the big "A" one is the bugged one, Chuut just hung on it and so did drb and I seperately, requiring a hard reboot.

I am going to pull the other NW planet assault and put in the stock one and an EEK one. I know those two are solid.

Server was more stable tonight... thnx again Bonk.

There are planet Assault missions that demand all enemies be destroyed... ussually a couple dockyards, a couple bases and a couple def platforms.  :o It seems most planet assaults are in that format.

cool you found that bugged planet... Be a good planet for the mirak eh?  ;)

Yup, found the bugged planet assault mission, to be safe I removed all NW planet missions. I put in a stock and an EEK planet assault. There is a new missions installer but most probably already have the missions and won't need to download.

And it was quite stable last night it was up 12 hours straight, peaked at 9 players last evening, I just shut it down this morning for the missions switch. Its back up now on the new missions.

I'll keep an eye out for any more nasty bugs to squash.

Just played a few missions for the first time on this server Bonk. Missions stables, server looked good and no crashes

I have noticed all my PvP matches crash withing minutes or are very unstable. I have done some tweaking of my computer to make sure nothing is wrong there. I have not tried it oday but will in an hour or so.

Nice server, great job.

been having some issues like that also but suspect a router or fire wall problem with the person i tried drafting.

Bonk knows that people are having troubles in missions.

Unfortunatly, he has no control over crashes in mission.

Spoke to him about those CTD in mission yesterday.

Sigh... I think its time to pull all the NW missions... they seem to be a problem on this server for some reason. I'll do so later tonight or perhaps tomorrow.

     Also on dock yard raids if i beam over 10 marines and its like 9 isc vs 5 of the enemy aned i fly further than 20 kliks from it all my marines dissapear. I've had it 15vs 4 peeled off because a massive fleet showed up behind me and walla at a certain range all my marines vanish from the FRD its not very far either. 20.00 kms is approximate im not sure the exact range that this event occurs.

that's weird...cause one way to win quickly is to dump superior forces on and hightail it for the edge of known space.

If thats the game where I was defending the FRDs from you:

I saw what you did and beamed more poeple onto the FRD from my ship so that my fed out-numbered ISC marines on it.

As mentioned above, I updated the scripts, just download and install the new scripts pack:

Nope, I will further increase the production probabilities of bases, I will make them as a high a probability of being constructed as is possible.

(note: bases cannot be purchased on the webyards, there is a flag in the db that I have not been able to reproduce, if I allow base purchases from the webyards they will just be part of your normal fleet and you will not get base construction missions, though this might be a handy feature sometime for mobile bases...)

The Forge is back up, (those base construction probabilites will take now). I have not inspected the database for corruption, it appears that is was shut down properly... I will update the missions later today.

This might very well drive you batty but:

As a fed, I'm still not seeing any bases in the shipyard....

I will check the OP+4 shiplist to see if the BPV for fed bases is excessively high in this period... about all I can think of... or perhaps increasing frigate production probabilites will allow for more bases....
