Well with Kroma having left for EVE I find I'm bored with no one
chasing me around.
So hopefull some people will hate some of these ideas enough to
dare to openly criticize me.
Klingon Civil War
2277-2279
A fun filled Three week server (assuming I can afford to pay someone for that length of time)
of people flying around like prima-donnas pretending to do something called "sabre dancing"
cuz they're not manly enough to chase someone down and smack them over the head with a big energy field.
(And yes you can chuck drones over your shoulder for those of you who like that sort of thing..)
With the success of AOTK2 showing that a three sided server can work and be alot of fun I've decided to ignore that
lesson and go with a 3+3 sided war.
3 Main houses .
These houses will be the one's competing for the prize.
These houses will operate as per any normal race- flip hexes, engage in PVP, try and make some
sort of decision they can claim is strategic on a map where everyone always can see what's going on.
They win by controlling a number of planets /important resources/ and other ideas I decided to pilfer.
There will not be a draft for these.
3Minor Houses -these are three minor houses (hence the name)
They aren't house per-se, but actually coalitions of very minor houses that may control only one or two ships.
These houses will (I hope) be permitted largely free movement around the map.
They're the PVP houses, they gain VP's by blowing stuff up.
They have their own way to "win" but can only help influence the war for a major house- the VP's generated by
a minor house will in no way be counted towards a Major houses (and vice versa)
Losing a ship to a minor house player will in no way,shape,or form effect a major houses VP's.
Minor houses will have their own set of special rules (but not complicated ones)
They will not be permitted to deepstrike and will only be allowed ships up to CA size.
There WILL BE A DRAFT for the minor houses.
Points
- As I said- no draft for the Major Houses - I promised when I took this thing over that there wouldn't be a draft
and I intend to keep that promise.
....or maybe I promised there would be a draft and I'm breaking that promise, it's been awhile, can't really remember.
-One House will be "reserved" for recognized Klingon warri players if they want it.
Time frame will (hopefully) be after Xmas around the New Years time.I'm going to have to beg and be nice to people to get this to work so it will take a bit of time.
There will be no ISC ships in KCW.
No droners
No carriers*
No HDW's
Each of the Major Houses will be permitted to field a DN and a C7
Each of the minor houses can fly what they want, as long as it's not bigger than a CA.
The usual "yes you can blow bases up" rules
Disengagement rule with the caveat that a minor house PVP victory doesn't penalize
a major house player .
