Make Moncton the Capitol City of NB AND Canada!

I just love the idea!   

I encourage all to sign the petition above, lets show Ottawa who's really worthy!

Just kidding, I actually do know what the capital is.

As for the capital of New Brunswick (since that's part of the original petition), why not make it St. John, since I got a T-Shirt from there once.

Oh my god, you can't be serious...Moncton is bloody horrible!  At least Ottawa is a pretty city.

(I may be biased havign lived in and loved Ottawa and loathing Moncton to the core.)

Sooner or later, every Canuck either wants to live in or does move to Vancouver, B.C.

So, make the capital of LotusLand, the capital of Canada.

Vancouver is an interesting city.  The most significant physical difference that strikes me between it and other cities are the downtown high-rise buildings.  In most cities, the high buildings appear to be business offices.  In Vancouver, the majority appear (at least from design) to be residences.  It really does make for a different feel.

Also, for some reason, Vancouver has an Asian feel to it (at least to me).  It feels very much like I imagine Shanghai or Hong Kong or Taipei would feel.

Have you ever been to San Fransico, CA? Vancouver, B.C. has  similar topography.  I think Vancouver is what San Fran would look like, on a larger scale, if they clean it up and had less pollution and garbage all over the place.  Both, cities are quite Left-Coast-ish too.

You guys are thinking things from the wrong direction. 

We want a capital so annoying that the politicians won't want to stay there making laws and interfering with people all the time.  I say we put it somewhere North of Baffin Island and make them live in the traditional eskimo igloo while parliment is sitting.

Do you remember the British putting up signs in the middle of Peking in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, "Chinese and Dogs Not Allowed"?  Very nice of those English sons of...  something.

Well, some Hong Kongers, running away from Chairman Mao's ghost, fled over to Vancouver with all their cash and assets.  They built some of those residential high rises.

But I guess some subconciously wanted some measure of revenge and while they didn't post signs, they did not permit whites to apply for any of the housing units, Chinese only!  Well, that didn't last.  I heard the rest of Canada got a wee bit upset.  Doh!  Canada is not England!  Besides, I always thought those Kongers were kind of... sons of ... English.

Racism is always evil and sinful, no matter who practices it.

LOL.. I was referring to Red Deer's darker history.  You do know Canada used to send mental patients there to be sterilized?

And before Mush accuses me of being 3 people again, I used to work for a Company that had a chemical plant in Red Deer and I had to go there once in a blue moon.  My favorite sign of all time was in that plant:  "If Outside Ambient temperature < -30C Please Close Door".  Learn all sorts of stuff drinking with Canadians.  You should force your scientists to drink regularly.
