The ending date for ATOK will be a lot later in the summer than I was thinking when we talked back in June, so I intend to let there be very little downtime between it and Eco War. My narrow window is practically shut.

I'll start getting some rules, background, and fiction up in the next week or so.

If you've any interest in playing a server that emphasises piracy rather than war, start giving some thought to which pirate factions you might like to fly. (Don't worry about it if your faction has only a few players. The object is forming a criminal empire, so there will be fewer factions when we finish than there are when we start. You'll get friends. One way, or another.)

Cuz while I'm unenthusiastic about flying pirate ships (I hates the interface)
(and the weapon options) I'm confidant the luggaage will come up with
something interesting.
(And I'm hoping some good RP- haven't had any in a while)

I understand your desire and I really do wish that I could do this for you. However, the only way I know to change the UI for a player and still have them playing as a pirate on the cartel layer is to edit the DB. I've done that before when I was screwing around with the DB structure, but that's way too much trouble for me to do it for everyone.
