You do green tomatoes right, you'll never let one turn red again. I love tomatoes in all varieties, but fried...oh man. That stuff is great!! Want a recipe? Wash them suckers, slice them however thick you want them, mix in a bowl a cup of all purpose flour, salt and pepper to taste, and any other seasoning you like (we use steak seasoning, NOT meat tenderizer), dip each slice in an egg wash, then in the mixture, and fry them in a bit of oil until golden brown, flip, repeat, then eat them puppies up.
