A request for those of you helping with bug fixes
« on: August 07, 2005, 02:49:28 am »
I included an output text for each time you run a patrol. This file overwrites the previous textfile, so junk does not clutter up, and only the last mission stats will be recorded in this file. There is one file for each of the patrol missions and have the same name as that mission eg. Met_TGAlliedPatrolA_Mission_Statistics.txt  Ideally, this file was not supposed to be included in the final version of the missions, however, since not all the bugs were actually removed, we are not yet at that stage and so the file remained.

What this file contains are the stats for the mission, what terrain type, what ships were present and the stats for each ship (hull class, BPV, AI or human etc.) It also includes a bunch of info about loadouts for each ship but for most ships this will mostly be empty.

What I would like to know, when you see a bug in a mission and have time, is to go to the appropriate file in your OP directory, and either make a copy of it, or write down somewhere what ships were actually in the mission. I have a theory that I am testing and I need to know exactly which ships are present when bugs occurs.

Thanks in advance  :)

Will do; and bump for importance  :spam:
