OK, started working on this, and can tell this is gonna be a big one...just this basic shape is coming at 1077 polies and there's still a lot to do, but.... ;D Remember, this is just the basic design...details come a little later. ;)

Just a quick note...no work on model today as I had PT (Professional Torture :P) and really feeling it...in a very bad way. Hopefully I'll be able to do some more tomorrow.

OK sorry about the delay...PT really messed me up. :( Anyway, I've gotten a little more done, up to 3500+ polies and still have the engines and detailing. :P

what the heck? 3500 is actually rather low poly and considering the amout, sandmans doing a pretty good job really :)

True ...

Most computers now come with mother boards that are superior to the vid cards that we use to buy.

I would say as long as the model is at or about 6500  or less it should be fine.   Nanner told me what the average was on some in the GAW MOD.  Seems like it was at or about that range.  ( I might be wrong  so don't hold me to that too firmly).

I know someone is working on the Fed AAC for me right now ...  and as long as it is under 7k when done  (with all the needed details)  ...   that will be fine with me.  ( And if it goes over ... I'll not scream either).

Point is ..   a lot has changed in the last 2 years.  And in about another 6 months (or less ) there will be another significant change in the way PC's run.  I have been looking at one of the new systems already.  They flatly kick some serious booty !

Sorry for the delay in responding...my sessions of pt have messed me up bad, but I'm ready to sit down and work on it some more. Damn bad back. Get re-evaluated in a month to figure out if pt is working or if need surgery...hopefully it'll be done by then lol. ;D

bummer about your back pains hope the docs sort it out for ya, awesome work on the Daedulus by the way, but again hope the back gets better or something is sorted out for ya its no way to live being in agony all the time, trust me i know due to my illness that i have called Haemophilia(the long life one) either way getter better soon Sandman and take your time and rest :)
