OK, here's a little more, coming in at 6630 polies...let me know if you want the greebles meshed or textured, because meshed will probably throw her up over 10,000 polies.

Started on some of the mapping. One weird note...at present config. it comes in at 7705 polies when it's an editable mesh...but only 4130 as an editable poly. I wonder if I convert to mod from poly if it will keep the lower poly count? $:-\$ I'm using MAX5 btw. Would be a cool way to lower polies if it does.

Well, here's a pic of a little texture work. I decided to try texturing in the panels...looks pretty good so far, just need to adjust and tweak.

I'm just glad y'all are giving me time...my back is getting better (well, less painful, still have to be careful...doc I have now is rehab. specialist and don't believe in pain meds

), I do a little every day but only post when I have a good update. Speaking of which...check back later.

OK, did some more...this thing is so detailed it takes forever to do...but that's ok, it's a fun one to do.

Just so you get an idea, it took 6 hours total to mesh, and the texturing so far has taken about 8...just for the nose, lol.
