Yup, the good ole favicon.ico - dates back to IE5 IIRC? It started appearing as an error in server logs around then I think, as browsers began requesting it... (not sure we're actually allowed to use the one we're using here on Dynaverse.net... shhh! Firesoul has modified his sufficiently however...) I first learned of it here: http://www.wdvl.com/Authoring/Design/Images/Favicon/index.html (after finding the error in my logs).
