I won't use a mouse without a tail.  My daughter is too prone to take the mouse with her and leave it somewhere!  So, although I use optical mice, they all have tails, chargers or not.

NPR is a lot like NASCAR.  Two hundred miles an hour in a circle, and you end up right back where you started with nothing but lost time for the effort.

I have never noticed a reduction in precision with optical mice.  I hate having to clean mice to get them to work properly, so I greatly prefer optical mice over ball mice.

Then there is my girlfriend who for web/graphic design swears by WACOM tablets.

Which the cats love.  It's a warmer spot to lay when not being used, and it's at perfect pillow/cuddle level.

drb has a small tablet, it's dandy!
