I certainly hope he has relatives that appreciate the tributes to him, this one among them.

Excellent Tribute WZ!  I'm sure his surviving relatives would be very appreciative of this effort.  Keep up the great work.

I didn't want to comment on the ship until I did my fair share of contribution to honor the greatest engineer in the Milky Way Galaxy.  Well, I believe this ship is a very well-done early-TNG-era contribute (and very Probert-like in my opinion, considering his Constitution-class Refit and Ambassador-class Starship design with a good hint of Matt Jeffries and some John Eaves I guess).  Wonderful job, WZ and Atolm.

I almost forgot, as I said I wanted to do a fair share of contributing to honor James Doohan.  Well, here it is:

I have a question for you WZ.  What is that sunken in area above the Federaion symbol on the secondary hull suuposed to be? Also do you have any blanks for this ship?

Looks like the inlaid sensor stripes you get on all the TNG and onwards designs, only a small contained version of it.

Looks beautiful WZ, a fine tribute and a fine looking ship to boot, props to Atolm for the design

As always, the halls of the dead produce the ultimate tribute. Great job WZ and Atolm/Azel.

Thats a great ship, I'm sure the real Captain Scott would have been proud to have such a class named for him. What era is she from?

Considering the registry number, CC22, I suppose it's in the early-TNG-era, around the time the Ambassador-class debuted.  That's why I made the plaque using the TMP-era Starfleet Symbol.  I could be wrong though, but that's my guess.  WZ has done a very good job with it (Atolm too with the design).

I actually met Mr Doohan once at a Trek event here in Raleigh about 20 years ago...I was the only one who asked him about his service in Normandy in 1944.

He will be missed!  :'(
