Never mind, i found that the program can export to 3ds.

But now i have a problem with the textures.

When i apply my dds textures to the material ball, it looks all wrong on the ship. Can anyone give me a good 3dsmax 5 texture tutorial?

Try here.

I'm not a max expert, but this seems like it fits the bill.

I have Deep Exploration.  Send the file to me and I'll convert it

Can anyone get this to work?

Well, I tried opening it in Max7 and it wouldn't. Got an error msg. It opens in Milkshape and LithUnwrap though?

The .dds file is corrupted, according to Winrar, though.

Hrrrm.... the 3ds file opens in Max 5.
The dds opens fine in irfanview and photoshop.

I figured it out, those extra smaller images in the dds file were screwing up the wrap.

Not quite perfect, but.

Wish someone would put these into a playable SFC format.
