there would be American identity problems as CNN reported recently that Ameicans are masquerading abroad as Canadians. There was a company in the story selling "kits" with Canadian flags etc.

Yeah, but the US has NASA and only US citizens can work at NASA.That's gotta count for something . . .like the US ships are perenially grounded, and the ship probes don't send back sensory data cuz some programmer misplaced a few bytes of code in the probes AI, and the ship deep scan sensors don't work that well w/o a complete overhaul of the initial telescope deployment into space, and...
