This is why I cannot sign in, worse part is it drops AFTER it leave my ISP so there aint' a thing I can do about it

I had a virus in my router that would drop cetain sites after I accessed them a few times. For example, I could get to google.com, but not homedepot.com. Or I couldn't get to nortons website, etc. It was in the router... A purge and new firmware fixed it.

trust me, I know what I'm talking about,  this issue cannot be resolved on my end

Send a couple of 100-shot pings and 2-3 tracerts to your ISP's e-mail support team.


They should fix you in less than a week (if it's their issue), or tell you you're royally screwed if it's the backbone...

Okay, I have absolutely no clue what this is about.   I can't even tell what the effect is.   Hell, I don't care about the problem as it's techie stuff.  I just wanna know the effect.

Can DH play or not?


If not,  maybe we shoudl wait until he can.   Seems a tad unfair for the guy who not only did all the work, but also bugged the hell out of me to do this server to not be able to play on it when it comes out.

In English:   My PC cannot communicate with Gamespy.   I cannot sign in to D2 becuase Gamespy handles accounts.

We are NOT holding back the server because one player cannot connect.

Only issue is, I cannot test anything so I'm going to need lots of feedback from people as I cannot sign in myself.

We will 90% likely start on Saturday, if delayed at all the latest we will be delayed is Sunday.
