Dunno why, but the yards are horrible. 7 ships... and they all sucked. Avg is 10.

Dunno what gf settings u have for ship builds, but mb u want to use SG4's. And set the econ of all races between 4k and 5k. That's about 50 econ every hex or so. That churned out avg of 24 ship a turn. At the start of a single player turn, the news reports the total econ for all races. I'd like to know what its at... and what gf settings u changed. Because it seems the yards are the same or worse b4 the map change to 100 hex DV's.

These are the same GFs as SGO4.

The econ has been pumped as high as it can go.

I cannot log into D2 to check, something was up with my ISP last night. Hopefully I will be able to sign in tonight so I can see these settings for myself.

And scippio is right, there is plenty of Econ or the taking in the middel of the map.

Tracey was supposed to send me the map, i guess ill get it later today. I'll play with it.

But taking more 100 econ hexes wont help. You already pushed past the low 1500-2500 you already had and the yards are still pumping out just 7-12 ships a cycle. Something doesnt add up. It may be the 100 setting. I'll have to see.

The econ is probably way too high. 26,600 for the feds and 14k for the hydrans.

I have never seen econ over 7k on a server and 5-6k has worked fine. I dont know if there is an upper limit. I dont know why after raising the econ from its low beginning to where it is now didnt help the yards.

But I cant get my server kit to start. I used my old SG4 kit and D/Led a new one and both say they cant find the directory servers. I cked and there are 4 servers on the list... So I'm not much help in fixing the yards unless I can get it running. Any ideas?

I can lower the Econ tonight when I get home, but somebody else needs to observe the affects.

U wpouldnt need to if i could just get my damned kit to boot.

If you do edit the map, just change all the rom hexes to 50. We can then compare that to the rest of the 100 econ hexes and see if there is a difference. If not, its something else.
