I'm hoping that someday someone buys up the rights to The Matrix trilogy and makes a 4th movie - one that starts with Neo waking up from a dream of the third movie, just after the end of the second.

Then the third movie can be done right.

This is all interesting, but I'm moving it to 10-Forward.

Cool man, guess I'm just a prude... ;) (I didn't want to say "crap" in a public forum - I guess its not so hot & spicy... lol...)

P.S. you might want to leave the thread moved notification on when moving threads though, it took me ages to find this, I was beginning to worry that the forum was malfunctioning or I had lost my mind and imagined the whole post, lol...

what's wrong with the 3rd movie?
I was never here, you were never here, this conversation never took place, and you most certainly did not see me.

Sappy, sappy, sappy.... everytime you turn around Neo and Trinity are sucking face! Where's the real action? Battles against Agent Smith? High quality martial arts battles? (that's martial arts not marital ;))

It should be called "The Matrix Interruptus"... ;)

Not to mention the scripting and dialog suck pretty bad on the third movie... I guess its like all sequels. Good story turns cash cow and producers ignore the lack of artistic merit.

Just watched Terminator 3 - a much better rendition of the same concept.  Only one hand-holding scene and it was a thousand times more powerful than the over the top tonsil hockey sessions of The Matrix Deep-Throated...

Your right and the "love" scenes where so sterile and cold, it seemed like some one was holding a gun to their heads, to make them act it out.

To be honest the only thing i have seen that was worse, was the latest Star Wars.

The secens between Anikin and Padme where absolutely dreadfull, and it seemed liike the 2 didn't have a clue about Love, or a relationship. They really did drag the whole movie at times. And make it really hard to watch in places.

Haven't seen that one, but don't doubt your assesment in the least. Seems to be a trend in modern films.
