Hmmm, it doesn't look like the one in the picture, for instance, the wings don't curve before they end, and the textures are too bright......

Hmm, with all the stuff I been burdening you with I didn't think you'd wanna.   Thanks, this would do great with my Nemesis SSR patch.  The patch will give every race a different ship for every class, for instance, the Borg use ships twice for every class, this mod would give each class a different ship.  Basically put, it would make SFC3 have variety without over doing it into a mod....

Actually, now that I look at it, there are several things wrong with this model if it's supposed to be based on the picture.  Most of the problems are in the neck and the head.  Also, it looks like the wings were taken straight from a bop and not altered at all to fit the picture.  This one ought to be fun to play around with, but I still have a couple of ships to finish up for you.  Class is cancelled for tomorrow, so hopefully I'll be able to get some modeling done then.

If you build a more acurate version I'd be interested in taking it to BC as well. I'm the one who put the other one in BC fyi.

If the ship already exists in the Dominion Wars why not just convert it over to SFC ?

If anyone knows how to extract and convert ships from Dominion Wars, I would certainly give it a try.

1. There is no known program that will extract the resources from the Dominion Wars' resource file.
2. Simon & Schuster wouldn't be very happy about you even attempting it.
3. Even if you could somehow extract the resources, I doubt it would be in any format that you could import.

If you really want the model that badly, just make it yourselves. I wanted new Dominion ships for ages and ages, no-one made any, so I made some myself, and I am continuing to do so.

And on a side note, I think that you are all being a bit disrespectful to Skinman about his model. He took the design and made a new ship, it's every modeller's right to artistic licence when it's their time that their spending to make something for the community, then 1) half of you can't remember that he made it and 2) you poke holes in it. If I were him, I would be feeling pretty hurt right now.

In summary: Either like it (be grateful that someone actually made the model), or lump it and make your own.

Ok now I'm annoyed, this was in no way post to be a COPY of the model in that Game.... If you want a copy of that model from That game, Make it your self or get the file from that game.

And by the way this model was the TOP model in the  TALDREN model Contest and Won first place!.... So take that to the bank! You realy should watch what you say.. some of us oldtimers take afence easy to stuff said specially when you are getting are hard work for free.....

FLAME OVER!

I'm sorry.  I didn't mean to offend you.  I was just trying to see how I could make this model better fit the picture.  I understand completely about artistic liscence and I think that it's a really good model, it just doesn't match the picture as well a greenvalv would like and I was trying to figure out how it could.  I meant no disrespect to you and I was not trying to insult your model.

Hey, nowhere in the ReadMe did it say that it was a TOS version, I meant no offence...... the model actually looks more like the Bird of Prey from "Enterprise" that pirated on that planet.....

Can you tell the difference between an 'S' and a 'P' - he said the TOP model in the contest, not a TOS model.

The capitalisation of "Top" was simply to emphasise the fact that the model came first in the competition. I think you need to upgrade your interpretational subroutines!

Excellent -- if you can play it.
Terrible -- however, most people meet technical problems, whether they use the buggy v1.05 patch, or have the VGA or Audio drivers too new or too old, or the game just doesn't work at all for unknown reasons.
