creating decent registeries with PSP
« on: July 12, 2005, 04:15:17 pm »
I bet this issue has been up various times here and there have been a few ideas already... i detest the idea of getting photoshop for just creating registeries so i thought if anyones found any decent plugins for making "bent text" or such.

I already tried the WZ method of first creating a vector circle, setting the leading and then typing around it but its really not worth it because its WAY too difficult to get the text right how and where i want it ... so please, if anyones found any plugins for the job let me know. or least easier methods ;P

when I need bent text I kinda cheat . I use the text tool in Power point  to bend the text I want then do an area screen capture with PSP then select the text in the capture using the magic wand tool then copy and paste where I want it to be. theres probably an easier way but this is what works for me

You know, you need not even get a screen grab. you can just copy and paste it right from Powerpoint.
Thing is youd need to through a little blur on it just to get it to anti-alias.

Sorry, but thats the only trick that i knew of.
