My dogs need a little something in the kibble to get them to eat it (because my wife has freakin' spoiled them).
I've been buying cans of wet food and mixing it, with unpredictable results. Sometimes they like it sometimes they don't.
Recently, I discovered a really cheap way to do accomplish the same thing (they are SO my dogs after-all): I drop 2 pieces of bologna and maybe a sprinkling of grated cheese (or sprinkle parmesian in. Dogs love stinky food) into the blender, but it on fine-chop, and stir the tiny little pieces of bologna into the three bowls with the kibble. They practically lick the plastic off the bottom of the bowl.
1 can of dogfood = .69 cents per meal, feeds 3.
30 pieces of bologna in a $1.29 pack = .08 and a half cents per meal.. feeds 3.
