I am a long time player of SFC 1,..how I loved that game. I bought SFC: OP, played 1 vs. 1 on gamespy for a bit till it seemed popularity went by the wayside. I did some Star Wars Galaxies, and some Silent Hunter III when I finally got SFC III yesterday. I like it,..but was having a heck of a time with the second mission (till I realized that I should be targeting subsystems with my noob crew).

So, just saying hey to you all. Wondering were I could get connected to some SFC: OP Dynaverse or SFC III online play, I'm a little rusty but how I do love multi-player.

Thanks for any info (or tips..tips are good).

I'm surprised no one else has replied, so I will.  This site is more for D2 OP stuff.  Not that SFCIII isn't wanted, its just that SFCIII is mostly mods these days.  The main traffic here for SFCIII is various mods announcing campaigns starting up, and announcing new versions of their mods that just came out.  Most SFCIII discussion goes on at the mod sponsors web site.

For SFCIII, I've played the GFL mod called Legions at War.  Its pretty good, not quite as good or as balanced as the creators say, but pretty good over all.  Other mod called Alternate B is very popular..if not slightly more active.  At least from what I've seen with the number of players on the different servers.  I haven't played Alternate B, so can't really give you any more info on it.

As far as SFCII: OP goes, lots of exciting stuff going on.  Check out the "The Dynaverse is one year old" thread.. some great news there!  Also there is a campaign about to start.  ATOKII

Just check out the various section for SFCIII and OP.. everything you need, you should be able to find there.

hello and welcome  to our forums. glad to see another person showing intrest in our game. Most of what you need is in pestelances 3.2 op pack.There is a campaign getting started in a week or so so keep an eye out in the d2 part of these forums for news on this.
 once again welcome look foward to meeting you on the battle field as a friend or foe.
