ARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!  I feel like J'inn after he tries to check his email.

A fresh Windows installer  and a bigger power supply later all I have to say is DAMN MY OLD CARD SUCKED!

It is amazing how good this game looks with modern hardware.

Now that your graphics are firing on all cylinders.....

If you haven't already, you should really try these texture and space patches.  (Stolen, I think, from SFC3)  You won't believe the difference they make in the visual appeal of your game.  They make EVE fanatics drool.   :p

The textures go in assets/textures and the space files go into assets/models/space

Ohh and again no one mentions this when Hexx gets a new Radeon9800 pro (hey some of us are on a budget)

The Anti-Hexx conspiracy around here is really alarming..

LOL, I got a built in video card (SIS 530) I think thats what they call it.

My comp is a P2 450 AMD K6 3d processor from Compact.

The only thing I got going for me is the 186 meg ram.  In this day off age it's worth nothing. But good enough to surf the net and do work stuff on.

For 2 years I plowed along playing this game with a nVidia Riva 128 4MB graphics card with a Celeron 300A CPU (overclocked to 450). According to the game specs on the box, this wasnt even supposed to be able run SFC2 at all (minimum 8MB graphics card required). It couldn't even do illumination textures.

Alright DH, same card I have. You need to see what It can do on a dual monitor setup. I love playing the game, while watching wrath of Khan.

Did that last night, but my second Display is a Crappy old Dell monitor that I bought for $25.   Has  a DVI so a 19'' LCD next to the 19" CRT might be cool  ;D

Anyone know any banks with low security oin the North East?
