FireFox IE help please.
« on: July 15, 2005, 09:27:41 am »
I updated Firefox yesterday to 1.05, and for some reason, I can't seem to get animated .gifs to work anymore. Ie, my Avatar, Villa made a funny yesterday, etc. I tried to open the images externally in IE, and still nadda. Anysuggestions guys?

Might just be the animation is getting a lot of hits.

Never the less, if that is not the case try http://kb.mozillazine.org/Firefox_:_Tips_:_Animated_Images for some ideas.

and

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/default.mspx#EDAA

Also go to Tools->Internet Options->Advanced and see that "Play animation in web pages" is selected. It is listed under the the subcategory of Multimedia.

Thanks Bro, I'll give It a try.

Edit, the Settings you suggested where set up just as you suggested. On both IE and Firefox. This is an odd one to say the least.
