Do you mean designations? lol good question... Nice little bash. Im not sure that the turbolift bumps behind the bridge quite work with it though. Lol space would be at a premium would they be needed...??

no turbo lift, just ladders.  no heat conditioner, just plasma going through the tubes to keep em warm. no ready room but the deflector control.
AND NO ROOMS! they all sleep in jefferies tubes when the plasma is NOT going through. a good pointer to keep the staff from sleeping too long :p

and yes im meaning designations. :P

Well for the SFB/SFC universe this would make a good PF model for the feds.   As PF's are supposed to be 'expendable' I doubt it would have a true resgistration.   But it might be combined with the ship or base that it is assigned to, and it might have a mascot name or something that the crew might call it...

I thought about it being a PF too, but it just doesn't really strike me as the fighter type.  Space really would be a premium here.  You could probably spare a couple of rooms as living quarters for the crew.  One if you want it to be co-ed  ;)

First thing I thought of,"Wow, being that small.. the toilets must feed directly into the food replicator matter storage system."  ;)

That and it'd be hard to find privacy for some of the essentials of human behavior in a ship that small.. (grin).

That being said, let me know when it's done so I can convert it over..

Transporter Chief (returning to his post after using the toilet and eating an odd-tasting burrito from the replicator):  Hey!  You can't do that behind my console!

Interrupted Couple:  But it's the only place on this ship where we can get some privacy!

Yes do release...and make more for other races.... ;)

Per SFB Mod K on page 3:

PFs can more properly (for game purposes) be termed small ships than large fighters.  Shuttlecraft are on the order of 10 meter long and starships between 150 and 400.  PFs are about 35 meters long and are perhaps more comparable to a twentieth-century heavy missile boat than anything else.  The term 'gunboat' is often used for PFs, particularly when refering to Klingon G1's.

Internal space is cramped, and the crews to not live on board except during missions.  PF crews are normally on the order of 20 to 40 beings, most of which remain strapped into their acceleration couches during most of the mission.  PFs do not have artifical gravity, and the crew must remain in pressure suits during combat since the main life support system is shut down to save power.

PFs are very short-ranged due to their engines.  While as fast as starships, they cannot approach their range.  Most PFs are towed by starships (tenders) or operated from bases.  An average mission lasts less than 48 hours.

Speaking of the G1, if anyone is interested, I can scan an upload an article on the G1 including deckplans and such...

Its a TOS Runabout...neat.

honestly, i dont understand why Gunboats cant be like runabouts, gravity and life support and all. From what we have seen of trek it doesnt take much power, and it tends to be on an independant power source (but can be rerouted to further suppliment power). So despite the fact that SFB says that there is no life-support, i think Gunboats should have it.

and yes i believe i do have WZ's permission, I sincerely hope it still stands because i dont want any packs, sixpacks or twelve packs of blood thirsty wolves on my arse ;p
i think it went something like this when i asked him if i can mess with his ships;

Yeah, go ahead, just don't paint any of 'em pink and I don't forsee any problems  8)
