Got it
The "aotk2" file made a DH123 file in the standard install directory- which was odd cuz I didn't think I had one.
After I grabbed the dh123.exe file and put that back in my root directory it worked.

We are now live with teh TG Patrols

Yes, we know they time warp.   We have a workaround that will prevent this from happening when the server goes live.

TG missions don't seem to be generating in enemy space.
(Or any missions actually)

TG has to fix this in her code, I can't set the variance any higher without the ED assult missions showing up where they aren'[t supposed to.

No news is good news.

Ran a handful of missions, and saw no problems.

fought a Klink DWFf..  The first PF it launched went ok, but the game crashed twice when the second one launched.  Is this my bug? Or your bug?   ;D

the installer didn't create the PF Models.

The installer WILL create the PF models- you just have to find a file called DH123
It's a msdos exe file- put it in your root directory and run it.

The problem (for me anyway) was that since I don't have the standard install location DH's
AOTK2.exe file put stuff everywhere. If you search for it you should be able to find it.

DH, you might want to fix the setting that is reporting the news. It keeps talking about the Mirdran Kingdom.

Missions seem to be appearing where they should be, just ran foir missions in a row in enemy space and was getting mandatory patrols each time. The last mission crashed when a C7f tried launching pfs though, which is a model issue. I thought I had all the models in the right folder, but apparently I don't.

It MUST be run to create the models for the PFs

I'll see if this happens to me when next I test. I'm kinda spacing my tests out. However, since I ran the batch file, I shouldn't have any problems with this issue, as it should have generated the pf models for me.

Models issue sorted, I just put them in the wrong directory, thats all. After taking a look at the shiplist to see where the game was looking for the models, all was good.

And now something else I've discovered. Some of the doner ships in other races' lists are appearing as the doner race. eg. I got a K-D7Wf as a Gorn ally. Taking a look at the shiplist, I noticed this ship was not marked as SPECIAL which is required to prevent it from showing up as AI or in the shipyard. I had thought perhaps that because these patrols allow restricted ships as AI that maybe perhaps that could have been the problem, however, the ship is marked with a "C" for Command variant and thus was not restricted anyway.

I have the 2-day ago version of the installer.  What I had to do to make it work (and I've verified this w/ DH in PvP) is...

First, obviously, make sure you have OP+4.0 installed.

Go into the DH123 folder that now (hopefully) exists in your OP folder.
1.  I copy/pasted the shiplist and fitrlist into the specs folder.
2.  Copy/pasted the models.siz into the main Models folder (the one that has a million different sub-folders).
3.  I moved all of the model folders (there's like 6 or 7 of them) to the main Models folder of the game.
4.  I MOVED both of the BAT files from the location the installer placed them to the main OP folder (C:\Program Files\Taldren Software Inc\Starfleet Command Orion Pirates).
5.  Now....from the "C:\Program Files\Taldren Software Inc\Starfleet Command Orion Pirates" double-click (or run) the DH123.bat and go play.

I am NOT saying this is the best way to get your game configured.  Only that it worked for me.  Also please note, once the final version of a campaign is put out, I sometimes have to reinstall the game since to a fresh version of 2552 and OP+4.0 and then put the final version installer on the game.  That is because I have no problem totally frakling-up my game to help test.

For all (not you Kurok) - DH has stated, repeatedly, that this is testing.  Please do test if you can (i.e. wide bandwidth).  No way 6 or 7 folks can catch all of the bugs.  But please do not get frustrated with the game if the Beta installer/settings/etc don't work.  Any of that crap can be, and usually is, bugged.  I really don't want someone turned off by the game because of experiences suffered during testing.  I believe the FINAL version will be better, clearer, and work (I hope ;)).
