I changed the engines to the original stock textures, it actually looks better.....

You may want to change the glows then, too. I redid the glow groups to match the mesh changes and the red engines.

I like the red glows myself.

Perhaps a happy medium can be reached whereby the red textures is changed to IDENTICAL green textures?

I still want to see a hangar bay door on one version

Just open up the .gf file in Notepad or Word Pad and see what the RGB values are for the green glows and then adjust the colors for the red glows to match those values.

Nah, I used the Model Attribute Editor.

I went to go edit them and to my surprise, they were still green.

that's odd. Oh well. In that case you should probably move the front glow group onto the mesh since it should be floating just in front of it. You may want to adjust the glow on the disruptors too.
