Well I have a couple of more versions of the Enterprise that are going to be released soon.  But I thought I would show you what is next on the block. This thread will be for the new U.S.S. Enterprise that was seen in some of the teaser posters in 1978.  For all you kiddies this one will be a treat because... I am going for a little more detail with her using some elements from other Enterprise Models to make this one of my most ambitious versions since this version is my favorite next to the actual production version.  For the first entry here are some teaser shots of the ship. I will be making some variant saucer textures based on the work of Andy Probert himself, and some three versions of the warp glow, one with a rainbow effect , the purple glowand the other. Originally I thought I would have this puppy ready today but expect something by Sunday at the earliest.

This is the model as she looks so far. Still have some major modifications to do to the saucer

This looks great!  It reminds me of the Enterprise they designed for Phase 2.  Are you planning on making that one as well?

Phase II is next on my list.  Personally I am fond of the Refit/Phase II/Prepoduction models because of the whole evolution of what became the Movie Enterprise. But I definitely have not forgotten about her.

Hey WD. Been a long time. Glad to see you around. Now that I've seen what you've been up to, I'm going to have to reinstall OP. Some outstanding work you're doing there.

BTW. I have only seen one version of this connie varient and toought you might like to take a stab at it.

That one more closely resembles the Phase II Enterprise, but there are a few small differences.

Kinda like a Phase II with a more TMPish look. Hope I can twist someones arm into kitbashing her. Shouldnt be too hard. I had a notion that WD's color scheme would look good on her. Actually, if the pylons on this model were cropped at the rear and the nacelles were swapped it would be VERY close.

I would say that this is a Phase II /Pre TMP era refit of the Constitution that varied slightly from the Phase II refit that the Enterprise received.

Would that be the USS Endeavor at Fleetdock 13?

The Phase II Enterprise doesn't have the impulse dome anyway, but it does have 2 turbolifts for the bridge, unlike the diagram earlier in this thread.

Actually the ship I was referring to was done by Moonraker. As far as a timeline for this ship is concerned, I always reckoned that it was built/refit at around the same time as the Enterprise refit. Perhaps as a competing design for the fleet refit.

Like your last refitted Enterprise released some time ago, I find this one very appealing.  I guess it's mostly because that it's the very Enterprise artwork I saw on my old VHS copies of the first five or six Star Trek movies.  As always throughout the years, I must say that you put out quality work over time.  Good work as usual, and I look forward to what else you have up your sleeve.

I promise that there is ALOT more up my sleeve  ;D

Well I am still working on this baby and now I have started working on some alternate textures. Starting with the U.S.S. Vanessa E. Steggs. NCC-2801. It shows some more of the detail I am working on right now.

Will Decker:

You never cease to amaze. One minute I think you've come up with your masterpiece, the next you outdo yourself.

I still have every one of your Connies in my game. I have a special folder for them, so if I ever have to do a reinstall of the game (which I've done twice since I got the game) I can immediately put them back in. Ya can't go without the staples.

BTW, I really dig the window details.

Forgot to ask you, Will Decker:

Out of all your projects, how many do you think are complete, and how many are WIPs?

There's got to be a fleet of 'em!

Very nice!  SFC3 is the best for screenshots, even if the gameplay is lacking.

Why don't you submit one of these screenshots to http://starfleetcommand3.filefront.com/ as a PotD?  I'm sure greenvalv would love to have more screenshots to work with right now.
