Dungeon Keeper
« on: July 04, 2005, 12:40:14 pm »
I was playing with an old game that I liked but I can't get it to run anymore. I have Dungeon Keeper and Deeper Dungeons. When I click on DK it launches the intro movie and crashes on launch. I can play Deeper Dungoens, but I like DK better. Does anyone have this game anymore? Any suggestions on how to fix it?

I may have to just play Dungeon Keeper 2.........

Heh, don't have DK 1, but I still play DK2 all the time. Fun game, and for IT's time the graphics where top notch.

I have the same problem with MW-3 ..  IMHO it has better stuff in it than MW-4   ( like the details in battle damage) .

It runs fine with the older Windows ..  but NOT XP !

OY  !

I wish I could play some of those older games again ..  Descent -3 was one of the best !

Have any of you tried to run these games in compatibility mode?  I'm guessing this is an WinXP issue, if you all still have the operating system that the games ran on then you may want to consider duel-boot option.

I just figured it out. I had to patch the game twice and KEEP THE CD IN THE DRIVE. I have games like that. Oh well, it's still fun
