OP Enhancement Package v3.2 question.
« on: July 03, 2005, 05:07:51 pm »
Howdy, all.

A quick question about the OP Enhancement Package v3.2.  Under the Single Player section, are the (for example) campaigns listed as custom, like Federation vs ISC--Custom, ready for playing?  What I mean is, can I just go into playing them without doing anything else?  I fooled around with it, but I can't seem to find any other planets or starbases other than the one I started out on.
Please let me know what I'm supposed to do with those spots.  Thanks, all!

If OP enhancement 3.2 loaded correctly you should have no problem playing the SP Campaigns.

So, that means I will find other bases, etc?  Are they just further apart (or is the map bigger) than they are in the "normal" version of the game?  Usually I find them within one to two hexes of one another.  Of course, it could just be that everyone has invested in good, solid Romulan-made cloaking devices.  Good ones, mind; none of this Klingon knock-off stuff.   ;)

P.S.  Is there some bug in the Wrath of Khan skirmish?  Whenever I try it the computer ends the mission by itself, as though I'd forfeited.  I'm just dying to take on the "Corinthian Leather" madman himself.

There are two SP campaign missions in package Storyline and Conquest the Conqest map is a little smaller than the storyline. You must pick which one you want Storyline or Conquset as there no switching between the two of them only at desktop and you will lose all of your saved campaigns. There is no bug in the Wrath of Kahn skirmish all you do is hail the Reliant thru you communications panel press 0 and pick which question answer you want.

Awesome!  I can't wait to get into my computer and fire up some photon-laden justice for Mr. Khan.
Thanks tons and tons and tons, Age.   :)
