I have no clue how a router can be so darned expensive in the retail field.

Not familiar with MX_2040 Routers, But I'm guessing they are for T1 connections. Heck based on Everyday Cable/Sat connection, you can do fine with a $100.00 Linksys router. Shoot, I doubt we have anything clost to a T line here within 50 miles of where I live. IF we do, some one hook me up.
