Topic: D2 Trisekelion Tourney: Want to WYN? Take the Bathtub!

A few threads back  ( http://www.dynaverse.net/forum/index.php/topic,163357014.0.html ) I asked people what they'd like on their pirate ship if they were to take it in a tourney-style tournament.

For the WYN auxiliary battleship -- known affectionately as 'the bathtub' -- this question is even more important.  Unlike the pirate cruiser, there are no ready-made cartel ships in OP for selection.  There fore, if there are going to be any WYN auxiliary battleships in the tournament, people need to give me ideas.

So think about it.  If you had this ship in a competitive environment, how would you kit it out?

Maximum of two Phaser-G's and/or two Plas-D's
No Hellbores in mounts C or D
Photons or Fusions in mounts C and D have 120 deg arcs; L+LF or R+RF
Two of the four option mounts MUST be either a Phaser 1, a disruptor, a type-B drone rack, an AMD-12, or an ESG (the ESG would also take up an adjacent box.)

I see 24 warp, 3 imp, 10 APR for 37 power.  Am I right in guessing 4.5 power to upkeep/shields, move cost 1?
That means top speed 25, with 7.5 power left from the APRs.  5.5 of that power the stock weapons...

Odds are, the most popular combinations will wind up being 2xPh-G - 2xDro-B or 2xPh-G - 2xAMD12.  Both of these are effectively escort ships, and can charge all phasers while running top speed (no ECM)
The next most popular configuration will probably wind up being the DB version, 2xDro-B - 2xAMD12.  This one can run a couple of EW points while cruising at top speed

Other configurations start slowing the ship down some... Though if you don't fire the plain-jane Ph-3s, you can still cruise around in a phaer-boat model (2xPh-1, 2xPh-G) without slowing down much (24 instead of 25).  Dizzy/Ph-G and ESG/Ph-G ships are slow, maybe too slow to fight off the above-mentioned speed boats.

The weapon restrictions rule out any pure-plasma variant (S and 2xF), though in a WYN on WYN fight a S-torp could do some damage, especially with the drone chaser.  The 2xF combination wouldn't be too bad with say drones or AMDs in a WYN on WYN, cause once charged you could run in with ECM on.
I wonder how well the PPD or Photon variants would hold up in a castle, with say AMD to hold off couner-drones?

Chance for success on first HET is 33%

Obviously, she was not designed to be manueverable.

Well with 37 power and 2/3 move she can afford power-hungry weapons.

PPD with 2 dizzies would be pretty nasty, especially if the dizzies can fire LS/RS.
