Nope, I've not split up from anyone and am still quite merrily attached - although I do get unsubtle, 'you love that machine more than me' type comments from, time to time... (I'm sure there are a fair few of us are familiar with that). I must admit, I tend to become rather obsessive when I'm working on something, or risk losing interest - there are a number of unfinished/unreleased meshes on my HD that can testify to that. Anyway, I got one of those comments last night, so I'm not allowed to touch Max or Photoshop today or woe-betide my ass.
Mostly, I do freelance recruitment for blue chip organisations (I'm one of those 'scary' interviewers you have to impress to get through the doors
). When I'm working relatively locally, I often start 'late' or finish 'early' and can squeeze a few hours modelling in around my scheduled hours. When I get cancellations (which has happened a few times in the past fortnight), I take advantage and stuff gets churned out!!
I'm off tomorrow, but from Tuesday I'll be working up in Dundee for the next 3 or 4 weeks (and possibly back down to Dudley after that), so I'll not be quite so productive for the next month or so, becuase I'm only home for weekends. I really should get myself a half-decent laptop so I can keep working while I'm trapped in hotels, but I've got a few too many other things to pay for first - notably my advanced level Hypnotherapy training (and next year's Master Practitioner NLP training) - expensive stuff.
Anyway, I'm glad you like the retextured Imhotep, she was always in desperate need of even these basic details, but when I released her, I had no idea how to even start. As I learn new techniques and my texturing skills improve, I'm sure she and many others will be tweaked and reissued again.
