Galaxy Class Variant
« on: June 23, 2005, 06:03:19 pm »
I guess this came from a website called www.miranda.com, but I found the pic posted at www.scifi-meshes.com.  I thought it was a pretty awesome looking Galaxy and wondered if anyone would make it or modify an already made Galaxy for SFC3.  Any takers?

I don't really care for it.  It has two conflicting design themes and comes off as awkward-looking.

saucer needs work but the rest such as the torp turret aft and the nacelles work.

The galaxy has a design style all its own, trying to "Sovy it up" never goes well.  The Warp Nacelles don't look right and the top of the entire ship has designs that look like they were just put there to make it look different, not with a purpose in mind.

I agree with Rogue.  It's like the AGT Enterprise-D, trying to make it look like a 24th-century Hot Rod.  I personally don't like this take on a "refitted Galaxy-class"...
