Remember K, it's not like you plunk down your money and BAM, you have 15 times as much only days later, you will need to do your reaserch EVERY business day and watch what is going on, forget what those soothsayers say about "oh, just diversify and invest and later on you will have more." The question is, do you want more now or later? I want mine now while I'm only 38, and all it takes is using your brain and asking people that know. The reason I'm so happy about AUML is I've recovered 25% of my initial investment, and it looks promising. FRO and MTDX are my babies right now, killer dividends that no bank would DARE pay.
Remember one thing, you can deduct 3k off stock losses in a year, and thanks to Bush (One good thing he did, IMHO) is you only pay 15% off the PROFIT you make when you sell a set of stocks you own, NOT from the initial investment.
I do not day trade, and I am adamant against "shorting." IMO, it should be illegal as it makes the market less an investment and more like gambling, something I try to stay away from. No offense Jerry, you know I have my own demons going on in my life.
