Topic: problems in Orion Pirates

I am running 2.5.5.2 of OP and am having a hard time completing missions in single player campaign.  patrols seem to go ok, but alot of other missions just never end.  Am I doing something wrong, or is this a known issue.  I blew up the asteroid base, nothin.  I downloaded data from listening post...nuttin.  Please help if you can   ???

 Is there no ship to ingage? or does the mission just not end?

I think that this has happened to me before.  No matter what the cause, the solution is almost always a clean install.  I recommend uninstall, delete all saved games and other saved files (completely clean out all the directories), then a clean reinstall and patch.  I seem to recall that there can be conflicts between old files and patched files.  With a clean install, you should not experience problems.

Make sure to disable your Anti-Virus when  reinstalling and close anything running in the background.

 Anti-Virus programs can corrupt the game when installing..
