So hot in here even tho I got two fans going. If I can do It Im going to be gone from here before then. I got Tuesdays and Wensdays off. May just move on one of thoes days and not wait till next weekend. If I wont have to come up with next month rent if I do that. As I just can come up with 500 bucks all at once.

Shoot Tim, I thought you where moving today. I might be able to help you then after all. As for the heat, Do your best to try and sleep through the day, I know It's uncomfortable, But that way, you can enjoy the cooler night air when your not working.

Drink something hot, like coffee. It fools your body into thinking its cooler than it actually is.

Wet rag over the back of your neck.

They also sell a cloth tube with diaper crystals in the middle, you soak it then put it on your neck...same principle but lasts longer.

Sounds dumb but it works (NTC summer '98, OIF summer '03).

Maybe wet strips tied to the fan...swamp cooler principle.

I used to have a 3rd floor walkup apartment - only had windows on one side, no cross drafts. Sweltering hot in the summer.

Get a spray bottle and make a 1/2 and 1/2 mixture of rubbing alcohol and water. Put it in the fridge. Mist yourself down with it then stand in front of the fan. Cools you way down AND kinda cleans/drys off the sweat. Used to do it before trying to sleep - worked pretty dam well. Did it recently when my AC went on the fritz....
