Found this - pretty useful descriptions for the lay person that may not grasp alot of the SFB background on ship hull development

this seemed kinda interesting to me......i have never heard anyone discuss these races in all my time on these and other forums.Not that ,that would be many.but here is an excerpt.Note the red colours

I believe they are in a Amarillo Designs product, basically just developing another quadrant of the galaxy.  I never messes with them at all - the Alpha Quadrant's big enough for me
