Next Campaign?

Greetings Warriors,

   It's been a long time since I've sat in the captian's chair, but my love of SFC just won't let me stay away any longer.  I loved the good old days of Star Lance, trying to fend off the evil pilots of Icop.  ;)  From the boards it seems like Mirror Mirror is winding down, if it isn't done already.  Might anyone know what the next Campaign is going to be?  I'd like a chance to install it and see if I can't knock some of the dust off these controls.  I once use to inspire fear when pilots saw my Gorn Bch/CCH.. now I can't even tell which end is the front.  So any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: Somehow got Xeno corp mixed up with Icop.. sorry if I offended anyone  ::)  like I said.. its been a LONG time

The front end is the end whe the big Frog-killing plasma comes out of.  When you are Gorn, that is really all you need to know.  ;)

Not sure what the next campaign will be.  But I'm sure we'll have an announcemet soon.

Not sure as to exactly when but several are int he works.

I hope to get Attack of the Kitties II up soon.   All races.  Light on the rules.

Some real life issues have hit the AoTK II Tech Dept.  As soon as those are resolved we'll get it rolling.


ETA . . . .  I dunno.   But not too long.

Well I have an idea for a game,  Now all I have to do is try to figure out what all the files in the server kit do!

Oh and get it into a fit state for THOR to run.  lol.

Darn almost forgot,,, and get chut to write a background story.

Greetings All -

Enjoyed Mirror Mirror very much - though I was something of a non-presence.  There's obviously a lot of talent in this community and I'm humbled by the evidence I see of it.  I still feel pretty rusty but am getting my groove back.  BTW - I've got a stock OP server up "Bartoks Basement" for folks to come and kick back on.  Late Era good starting pp compared to ships prices etc.  Map with lots of growing room. 

While thinking of classic empire clashes 1v1 a la Mirror MIrro I thought of

Vulcans vs. Andorians - I know I've seen some wonderful mods for the Vulcans in the modders forum, sorry can't at the moment recall whose they were.  Don't know if there are Andorian vessels out there.

Shadows vs. Vorlons - Have seen these B5 race ships/mod files out there.  Would be interesting to see them in a campaign.

Putting either of these together is beyond my abilites at this time.  But I thought I'd share the thoughts:)

Should have been there for RDSL, Mimbari Cruisers vs Shadow ships.
Now there were some battles...
And the "clues" to find the lost tech...sweeet...
One of the best campaigns I've ever fought.  ;D
And some of the most awesome models I've ever seen on D2... ;)

Wow very cool "RDSL"??? I'm sure an acronym for a campaign what's it's translation?  Regarding the models, I've definitely seen the Shadow battlecrab, and possibly 2 other shaodow hulls available in the mods DL section of this site.  Some included in a megapack, the Minbari Sharlin, Tanashi and Nial fighter are out there.  Pretty sure I've seen the Vorlon big ship out there (Star Destroyer? - obviously not a DD class hull :))  - not sure about the regular ships though I"ve not searched recently (regular meaning Kosh's ship).  Now that might be considered a DD class....

Sorry I missed the campaign you reference, but sound like you folks have been putting together some of the best:D

Probably not, since it was already the sequel to IDSL (Island of Dr. Strangelove).  But knowing this community's affinity for sequels (CW1-7.5, Slave Girls 1-3), ya never know...
